A NEW OPTION for PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION
The RADIANCE-II is a randomized, controlled pivotal clinical trial to demonstrate effectiveness and provide additional information about the ability of the Paradise Renal Denervation System to treat high blood pressure. The study is designed to evaluate the Paradise Renal Denervation System in hypertensive patients currently uncontrolled on two or less blood pressure medications. In the study, 2/3 of the patients will receive the ultrasound therapy and 1/3 will receive a “sham” therapy (no ultrasound treatment). The groups will be randomly assigned and participants will not be told which group they are in. Participants receiving the “sham” procedure may have the opportunity to have the therapy at a later time.

Is your blood pressure greater than 140/90 mmHg despite being prescribed one or two blood pressure medications? and,

Would you be willing to come off, your current blood pressure medication if you were closely supervised?

Is your blood pressure uncontrolled (greater than 140/90 mmHg) but you are not taking any blood pressure medication and you would be interested in trying an alternative to medication?
