Recor Medical was founded in 2009 with a singular focus: create a breakthrough therapy to treat hypertension using ultrasound technology. We developed the Paradise™ Ultrasound Renal Denervation system and tested it over several years through the most rigorous randomized controlled trials. Having proved that it can effectively and safely lower blood pressure in a broad range of patients, we’re bringing this therapy to the doctors and patients around the world seeking another option for treating hypertension.
In 2018, Recor became part of Otsuka Medical Devices, a division of Otsuka Holdings Co., Ltd. For more than a century, Otsuka has been committed to innovation and today manages a broad portfolio of healthcare and wellness companies. Otsuka Medical Devices is focused on developing new therapies that improve the health and well-being of patients whose medical needs are not met by existing treatments.
