SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Recor Medical, Inc. (“Recor”) creates informative, engaging, and helpful communities through our social media channels, where we can share information and have respectful discussions.
Recor looks forward to open communication with you; however, sometimes we might need to remove your comment from our channel to meet industry regulations and uphold the intent of our social media communities. As you participate on our social media communities, please keep the following things in mind:
COMMENTS SEEKING OR CONTAINING MEDICAL ADVICE
Please remember that this is not an official outlet for medical advice and is not intended to act as a replacement for advice from a healthcare professional. Recor does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or otherwise engage in the practice of medicine, and information on our social media communities should not be considered medical advice. If you are experiencing a medical problem, please consult a healthcare professional for diagnosis and treatment.
COMMENTS CONTAINING UNAPPROVED PRODUCTS OR OFF-LABEL USES
Recor social media channels are created for people in the United States or Europe. We are required to abide by the laws of each jurisdiction. Some content may not be in compliance with certain regional laws. For example, in the US, we cannot promote any products that are not approved for their intended use in the U.S. by the Food and Drug Administration. Therefore, we will have to remove any comments about unapproved products, competitors’ products, or the use of our products if we determine they are not consistent with applicable law.
COMMENTS CONTAINING VULGARITY
Recor wants to provide respectful and welcoming communities for all. Comments that use profanity, hate speech, or other offensive language will be deleted.
COMMENTS THAT ARE OFF-TOPIC
Recor wants it to be easy for our followers to find relevant and useful information on our channels. Sometimes comments are posted that are off-topic, make unsupported accusations or claims, contain misleading information, promote the buying and selling of goods or services, or spam. These comments deter from our channels’ intent and will be removed.
COMMENTS CONTAINING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
For your protection, Recor will remove any posts from our channels that contain personally identifiable information about you or someone you know, including a phone number, address, email, or date of birth.
COMMENTS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES
If you have issues, complaints or suggestions about individual sales and service experiences or our products, these types of concerns are best handled by trained representatives. If you’re interested in sharing comments or feedback outside the scope of these channels, you can send a message through the “Contact Us” tab on RecorMedical.com. Comments may be forwarded to other departments and personnel to ensure appropriate follow-up.
Please know that Recor does reserve the right to delete any posting at its sole discretion that affects the integrity of our social media communities.
